A Few Words ON
My Story
Would you like to know the story of how I discovered my passion?
So here it goes…….
I had an exciting career in the sales and training department of one of the best pharmaceutical organisations. I was a confident communicator as it was one of the key job requirements.
It was in February 2009 when I was blessed with my younger daughter. One Saturday, I had to attend the PTM of my elder daughter who was a very confident, chirpy and bubbly child. Her class teacher shared her feedback which was not just a surprise but rather a shock to me. She said that my child has refused to participate in any performance. She is not even ready to stand and wave her hands on the stage in a group performance.
I couldn’t accept that and asked her teacher how can she be accommodated in any of the activities. She replied that she couldn’t take her in any as there is no time for practice and suggested that I prepare her for a solo performance.

I took this as a challenge and simplified all my life learnings to make sure she gives a solo performance. I spent half the Saturday and all of Sunday with her boosting her confidence and making her practice. Monday morning, she narrated a small story and was not only applauded but also recognized for her performance. There has been no looking back for her since then as she has gradually evolved as one of the best speakers and presenters in her school. I realized that day that communication can be made easier to learn if we convert it to simple techniques and prepare enough.
I really feel fulfilled and contended when I help kids and adults being more confident and effective communicators by practicing my simple techniques. I have parents who tell me that their kid’s school teachers have noticed the positive change in their kids and this drives me.
In 2015, to touch more lives, I made the less popular but more rewarding decision of quitting my corporate job of 15 years and starting my training initiative as a Soft Skills Trainer, thus my baby “VIDE HORIZON” was born on 1 Jan 2015.
In the last few years, I have done multiple corporate pieces of training, TTTs- Train the trainer programs, communication, and sales training. One thing common in all these events was empowering individuals with communication skills to help them achieve their goals and this became the mission of my life.
Many times, I have come across tough situations in my life and used my techniques myself to strive back.
I have now come to a point where I am my best self and more capable than ever before of providing my clients with results.
Through my learnings, education, skills, and wisdom I have devised training modules that impact and help several target groups including employees, ladies, students, and trainers.
Meaningful and well-crafted programs that are also fun are what I deliver and I find a lot of joy and gratification in this.
In the year 2020, I was recommended for the KAUSHAL ACHARYA AWARD” organized by the Ministry of Skill Development
